TESTING A MODERN NEED
Peer services will be Pasadena's first available offering. It’s no secret technology has increased isolation across society, causing severe social-related issues. These issues include basic human presence, accompaniment, and conversation. Pasadena will be resolving these issues by making attentive humans available on-demand.
Through 2027, Pasadena will piloting the aforementioned functions as peer services in Los Angeles, Ca. Organizations and individuals interested in participating or supporting this pilot can reach out through the contact form.

Order peers to build presence in your community when children are walking home from school, packages are being delivered, and more for ensured neighborhood watch.
Accompaniment
Order a peer to accompany you when taking the train at night, walking through precarious environments, and more for an added layer of protection.
Conversation
Order a peer for conversation when in need of an ear, are new to a city, and more to maintain healthy socialization levels.

Peer Services Pilot - Phase 1
Pasadena's pilot will kick off by focusing on attentive conversation as a service. In-person, peer-to-peer socialization is critical to mental health but has aggressively declined in recent history. Pasadena will be working with the mental health field to develop peer training, source participants, and mold our service overall.
